June 2 - Joan & The Giants, Seb Szabo + More

Hello Music Lovers,

YOU’RE INVITED

Everyone loves a daytime Sunday session.. the air is sweeter, hail or shine, undercover the good times are endless, and the music sounds better with you.

Pull up the roller door, come on in and kick back for a good old-fashioned warehouse gathering! Sip on your favourite beverage and discover your next musical crush playing my-heart-skipped-a-beat originals just for you.

Gather your friends, lovers, and acquaintances and invite them to this happening.

THE LINE UP

Introducing Joan & The Giants, an ethereal alt-pop 4-piece from Boorloo, fresh off the stage supporting global superstar P!NK and international breakthrough Tones And I. With momentum that kicks in immediately and the songwriting that feels large and full of heart Joan & The Giants create a free-spirited atmosphere that will enhance anyone’s Sunday afternoon.

For those who’ve been to a Seb Szabo backyard show, you know how special this one is; come for an enigmatic live show, and stay for Seb’s commanding voice and charming presence, full of joy, humour and honesty as he reimagines his own luckless anecdotes into Springsteen-inspired rock.

Butterbath is a slippery sliver of psych-pop from Gadigal Country. A rising record producer with cuts on Jessica Mauboy’s latest LP and collaborators like PNAU/Empire of the Sun’s Nick Littlemore, Butterbath creates morsels of good times and great classics. For fans of Tame Impala and Neil Frances.

Mozë combines organic and electronic textures and creates whirls of melodic passion that whisk you into a dream, while her palpable energy and enchanting vocal will leave you breathless and wanting more. Another artist-producer to watch, particularly for fans of James Blake.

Our debut Sunday Session also introduces newcomer Emily Tei, who, thanks to COLLARTS is our Emerging Artist Showcase finalist. Emily has already attracted new fans and interest with support on triple j unearthed, ‘there’s something special here’ a review from Tommy Faith about the budding songwriter.
